Today, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Macedonian Ecological Society, represented by its Executive Director, M.Sc. Robertina Brajanoska, and Pelister National Park, represented by its Director, Ivancho Toshevski. The agreement establishes a framework for joint action in the fields of nature research and conservation, the preservation of biodiversity, and the sustainable management of natural resources.
The agreement envisages the exchange of expertise in the joint implementation of research and educational activities aimed at the protection, conservation, and promotion of the natural values of Pelister National Park, with particular emphasis on the monitoring of key species, as well as on the active involvement of local communities on the slopes of Baba Mountain in the processes of protection and sustainable management of the region’s natural heritage.
This agreement further strengthens our already established and long-standing cooperation with Pelister National Park, affirming it as a positive example of partnership between public institutions and the civil society sector in Macedonia.
