Call for Submission of Offers for Expert Support in Assessing the Population Size of Ohrid Mountain Tea (Sideritis raeseri) on Mount Galichica

The contracting authority, the Macedonian Ecological Society (MES), through the project “Prespa: Green and Blue Initiative: Strengthening Protection through Research, Education and Communication”, an external action project of the European Union implemented by the Macedonian Ecological Society in cooperation with the Municipality of Resen and Galichica National Park, announces a Call for Submission of Offers for Expert Support in Assessing the Population Size of Ohrid Mountain Tea (Sideritis raeseri) on Mount Galichica and Adapting Monitoring Methodologies for Future Independent Monitoring.

The main objective of this assignment is to provide professional and expert support for the implementation of the Long-Term Biodiversity Monitoring Programme in Galičica National Park, specifically regarding the monitoring of Ohrid mountain tea (Sideritis raeseri). However, the surveys may also include other plant species occurring in the same habitats, and information on their status and monitoring may emerge during data processing as an additional benefit.

The right to submit an offer is granted to any interested individual who meets the following criteria:

• Completed higher education in a relevant field (for both senior and junior experts);
• Professional experience in monitoring Ohrid mountain tea (at least 10 years for the senior expert and appropriate relevant experience for the junior expert);
• Demonstrated capacity to conduct research, prepare analyses, and process data.

The deadline for submission of offers is 8 July 2026, no later than 16:00 h.
